Greetings! I am delighted that you are here to learn about me.
Growing up surrounded by my father’s traditional paintings and sculptures ignited a passion for creating art from a young age. As I grew, I was slowly drawn to the possibilities of computers, and my passion for digital art blossomed into a desire to create characters for the animation industry. This path led me to find my creative role as a character artist at Rockstar Interactive India LLP, where I utilized my knowledge of anatomy and color to create realistic characters for games for a few years.
Marrying and moving to Texas from India with my spouse brought a turning point to my artistic journey. We traveled a lot, which I hadn’t done much before. Struck by the beauty of this captivating nature, I forged a deeper connection to the natural world and reignited my love for traditional painting, a medium I had set aside. Picking up my brushes once again, I discovered a newfound passion for the tactile experience and the rush of creativity that comes with painting. It was an awakening to my Ikigai. Travel with my spouse feeds my creative hunger. The places we visit inspire my artwork.
Watercolor and oil paints, each with their unique qualities, have become my mediums of choice. Watercolor’s delicate transparency and oil’s versatility allow me to express the beauty of nature, a subject that has always held a special place in my heart. Nature’s gifts: birds, animals, and the breathtaking scenery are treasures we must protect, ensuring their wonder can be experienced by generations to come. Through my art, I strive to capture the beauty of the natural world and encourage a deeper appreciation for it. My paintings invite you into a world of color and light, to find peace in nature’s beauty and embrace the world around you.
