Thank you for shopping with Elakiya Fine Art. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return policy below:

1. Returns and Exchanges

  • Eligibility for Return: We accept returns for artworks within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your print must be in the same condition that you received it, without damage, including the certificate of authenticity, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please contact us before returning any products.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Custom or commissioned artworks, and any items marked as final sale, are not eligible for return or exchange. Original art purchased through a gallery cannot be returned through Elakiya Fine Art. Please contact the gallery where the piece was purchased to learn about their return policies if applicable.
  • Buyer’s Remorse: We do not refund orders for buyer’s remorse.
  • Wrongly Ordered Sizes: Sizes ordered incorrectly are not eligible for refunds. Our printing service provider creates items on demand, so requesting a size exchange would involve producing an entirely new product.
  • Exchanges: Exchanges are not available.

2. How to Return an Item

  • Initiate a Return: To initiate a return, please contact us at [shop@elakiya.art] with your order number and reason for the return. We will provide you with instructions on how to proceed. Prints sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
  • Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
  • Condition: Ensure that the item is securely packed to prevent damage during return shipping.

3. Refunds

  • Processing Time: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
  • Partial Refunds: Partial refunds may be issued for items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Withdrawal Requests: The withdrawal request will undergo an evaluation to verify whether the product was used or destroyed, even if partially. In such cases, a refund will not be possible.

4. Damages and Issues

  • Inspection and Reporting: Please inspect your order upon reception. If you receive a damaged painting or an item that is defective or incorrect, take clear photos of the damage and the packaging.   • Return of Damaged Items: Upon receiving the returned damaged painting, we will inspect it to confirm the damage. This step ensures that the artwork was indeed damaged during shipping and not due to mishandling by the buyer.
  • Insurance Claims: If the shipping was insured, we may file a claim with the shipping carrier to recover the costs of the damaged artwork. Your documentation and our assessment are crucial for this process.
