The World from the Maple Leaf Train” A painting from a train journey!
This year, I traveled from New York to Niagara on a train called the Maple Leaf. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous, a total feast for the soul. I took as many photos as I could, and this scenery is one of them. Because the train was moving so fast, I had to wait eagerly with my camera to catch the right moments. The shots turned out okay, but the colors were dull due to the window glass. I chose this particular view and enhanced the colors in the painting to reflect how it would look if I were standing right in the landscape painting it. I hope you like it! I’m planning to create more for this ‘train journey’ series. Let’s see how it goes!
