“The World from the Maple Leaf Train, Part 3” Continuing my painting journey along the route to Niagara, this is the third scenic view I became obsessed with capturing.
I found a green world standing still. There is a specific kind of magic in an algae covered swamp, the way the neon greens sit heavy on the water, hiding secrets beneath the surface. I was drawn to the contrast of the trees scattered throughout, each one posing with its own unique attitude.
By using the wetland plants to create a natural path, I wanted to lead you deep inside this lovely emerald kingdom.
